Vic Jagger is a veteran radio host, cool mom, producer, writer, & multimedia personality from Washington, DC. Her radio career began in 2002 as an intern with the nationally syndicated Russ Parr Morning Show on 93.9 WKYS. In 2003, she was hired as an Associate Producer/On-Air Talent and gained popularity with her comedic character ‘Shaqwana’. During this time, she hosted community events, concerts, and high school visits where she shared her radio journey with students. She was also honored with the Spirit of Community Award for her service and commitment to New Community for Children in DC.

In 2016, she hosted her own show, “VJ In The Midday”, on MAJIC 102.3/92.7 where she rose to #1 and became a voice for the city for 7 years. In 2024, she took her talents to mornings and debuted, “Vic Jagger In The Morning”, with her co-host Huggy Lowdown. Throughout her 20-year career, she has interviewed iconic guests, such as Mary J. Blige, Taraji P. Henson, John Singleton, Jay-Z, Keke Palmer, Snoop Dogg, Kelly Rowland, Tony Toni Tone, New Edition, and more. In addition to interviewing notable local figures, like DC Mayor Muriel Bowser, Radio-One founder Cathy Hughes & Sen. Ben Cardin, Vic has moderated several significant panels, including a DC-wide Baby Shower with the Office of Paid Family Leave (DOES), Xfinity’s Black Music Month panel – SPIN DC, and Jack Daniel’s Business Grant Competition for Small Businesses in the DMV. She was honored to serve as host for the first-ever Hip-Hop Block Party at the National Museum of African American History & Culture. She has also hosted other incredible events including Donnie Simpson’s 40th Anniversary Celebration at the Warner Theatre, the Thurgood Marshall Awards Gala Red Carpet, and the Momentum Awards Ceremony with DowntownDC BID to name a few.

Vic Jagger has made numerous television appearances including TV One’s “NewsOne Now with Roland Martin”, “Unsung”, “Uncensored”, “The Beat Don’t Stop: The True Story of DC Culture & Go-Go”, and hosted NBC4’s weekly segment “The Tuesday Trend”. She was one of 20 radio hosts invited to represent the “Leading Ladies of Radio” at the 25th Essence Festival. She has also volunteered and donated to a number of initiatives including Calvary Women’s Services, Martha’s Table, Food 4 Families, and the Capital Area Food Bank. Apart from her work in radio, she’s a brand spokesperson, REALTOR®, and advocate for gender equity.

Vic is an alumna of the University of the District of Columbia and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Arts. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

In 2000 Huggy Lowdown stepped on the scene of the nation’s Capitol, delivering comedy in a Presidential way on the legendary Washington, D.C. radio station WPGC. While on WPGC for eight years, Huggy joined forces with broadcasting icon Donnie Simpson on his number one rated show “The Donnie Simpson Morning Show.”

Having an unforgettable presence, for his hilarious comical take on everyday life. Huggy was voted D.C.’s favorite radio personality.

In 2008 Huggy left for syndication on the Top syndicated, Tom Joyner Morning Show. With 8 million listeners, in over 115 markets, Huggy quickly became the shows number one entertainment, news and gossip segment every morning, Joyner retired in 2019 so Huggy moved to the synicated Ruse Parr Morning Shw and the Donnie Simpson evening Drive show. He is currently heard every morning on Majic 102.3/92.7 on Vic Jagger In The Morning With Huggy Lowdown.

Huggy’s vibrant on-air personality paved the way tor his successful stand-up comedy career. He’s highly recognized across the nation as one of the top headliner comedians on the comedy circuit. Selling out comedy shows across the nation, Huggy was quickly recognized by the network TV ONE and chosen to supply the comedy satire for TV ONE’s live coverage of the democratic convention and Presidential Inauguration. From there Huggy went into TV doing two seasons on the TV ONE sitcom “Love that Girl”
