    Out of the Washington Metropolitan Area hails a proven stellar talent who has honed her professional, social and educational expertise in the entertainment industries’ Radio and Television Broadcasting Journalism field.

    Teresa Marie currently displays her professional talents for Radio One on Majic 102.3FM Washington D.C. / Magic 95.5FM Baltimore. Teresa has built her media experience on both the “STELLAR AWARD WINNING” WPGC AM Heaven 1580 and WPGC FM 95.5. Teresa utilizes her accomplishments to give back to the community and provide education and awareness to individuals who suffer from societal challenges, always lending a helping hand. A graduate of the Columbia School of Broadcasting, Teresa Marie continued to develop and evolve through her work at ABC 7 News/WJLA /News Channel 8. A proven striver, Teresa still finds the time to attend the prestigious American University studying Public Communications.

Over her 20 years in radio, Teresa has interviewed and interacted with leading political and community leaders, ministers, award winning artists, authors, and entertainers. Names like President Barack Obama, Rev. Al Sharpton, Former Maryland States Attorney Glen F. Ivey, the Late Dr. Dorothy Height, Les Brown, Tavis Smiley, Blair Underwood, Eleanor Holmes Norton, Ice Cube, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Denyce Graves, Monique, and Yolanda Adams are but part of the impressive list of important and popular figures who have spent time with Teresa on the mike.

    Born in the Philippines as a Military Dependant, Teresa traveled extensively around the world and has been exposed to various cultures and traditions. It’s an experience that helped shape her eclectic style of communication, allowing those in her presence to feel at home and safe during interviews or live events she’s hosted.

    Teresa’s mission statement is to “Take Education and Opportunity to the Communities.” This has led to her life’s work and passions developing concepts like; PINK FRIDAY’S aiding Breast Cancer victims and honoring survivors; saluting unsung heroes with EVERYDAY PEOPLE; journeying through African American History with a show called AROUND THE CITY IN 80 DAYS, and empowering women with her WOMEN OF EXCELLENCE PROGRAM.   • The Lonnie Bee Show

    Lonnie “Lonnie Bee” Bee is a Washington, D.C. born entertainer whose journey began on the hard streets of Southeast D.C. Defying the odds, he poured himself into the arts and built a multifaceted career as a dancer, choreographer, writer, director, and producer.

    His creative talents have led him to choreograph for major recording artists, open his own dance school, Studio Boom Boxx, and independently write, produce, direct, and star in multiple self-funded one-man stage tours under his independently owned Bee Managed Productions brand, operated entirely by himself.

    Lonnie has also appeared in film and television, with credits including Holiday Heartbreak, Dying to Be Famous, and the television series Hush.

    Despite managing multiple creative ventures, Lonnie remains deeply connected to his community, hosting his popular Comedy Brunch, while continuing to write, direct, and star in his acclaimed stage productions. His signature works include Around My Way, its sequel Back Around My Way, and the highly anticipated third installment, Brooks Place Apt. 202, set to launch its Six-city run Chicago, Washington DC, Atlanta, Baltimore, New York & Philadelphia.

  • Deja Perez

    Broadcast personality Deja Perez has worked in a variety of positions. Initially, she started as a part-timer in the research department. She went on to work as a board operator, then became part of the promotions department, and finally hit the airwaves as an on-air personality! Eventually taking a position with celebrated Radio One hip-hop giant, 100.3 The Beat. Before landing at DC-based 93.9 WKYS.

    During her tenure in Philly, the popular radio star was embraced by the city, particularly because of her strong commitment to eradicating domestic violence and working with juveniles. Diligent about her desire to help at-risk youths, Ms. Perez obtained a degree in Criminal Justice from Temple University.

    Her mercurial rise can be attributed to her dedication to excellence, combined with vibrant talent and a passionate drive to achieve.  With a Latina mother and an African American father, this New Jersey native celebrates her cultural diversity and believes that her family background has enabled her to relate to all people!  A world traveler, she has broadened her perspective of our planet

    Throughout her time at WKYS, Deja’s talents extend to doing voiceovers for local and national corporations including Ford Motor Company, Coca Cola, Macy’s and Shoppers Food Warehouse for all stations in the Radio-One cluster. Deja has found her true passion, the highly-rated daily entertainment report “What’s Poppin!” filled with celebrity gossip, scandals, and the latest news. She also hosts her self titled # 1-night show “Deja After Dark”, responsible for the “Goodnight Kiss-mix”, the first on-air slow jam mix. Extending her talents, Deja has made several appearances on the nationally syndicated “Russ Parr Morning Show”, providing both local and entertainment news. In addition, she uses her vast entertainment knowledge for the Internet show featuring Grammy-nominated singer Raheem DeVaughn.

  • Ric Chill is truly the hardest working man in Washington DC radio, having worked at 10 radio stations in the DC market. Born and raised in the DMV, Ric began his radio career at the tender of age of 17 as an intern at WPGC. Within 8 months he was a weekend on-air personality. In 1995, he was recruited to lead the on-air staff at the first all hip hop/go-go station in the Washington DC market, “Flava 1580”. After a brief stint at WKYS, Ric transitioned into a sports talk show producer, producing shows for the likes of Tony Kornheiser, Doc Walker & Al Koken, as well being the original producer for “The John Thompson Show” on ESPN 980.
    In 2000, Ric joined the staff of Jam’n 99.5, which later changed formats and became HOT 99.5. While there, he was the top rated personality on the station over any daypart.
    In 2009, Ric re-joined the Radio One family in Washington DC, working in a variety of capacities until joining the Majic 102.3 airstaff in January of 2012. Ric served as the Executive Producer & On-Air Contributor of the Donnie Simpson Show. Ric is currently the Local Producer for the DL Hughley Show.
