    Vic Jagger

    Born and raised in Washington, DC, Jagger holds a Bachelor’s degree in Media Arts (TV Production) from the University of the District of Columbia. She began her radio career in 2003 with Radio One and the nationally-syndicated Russ Parr Morning Show as assistant producer and part-time personality. In 2008, Jagger became a full-time on-air talent with the morning show; creating popular character voices, parodies and giving her take on trending topics and national headlines. Jagger’s ambition has garnered her much success over the years; being named program & music director for Russ Parr’s syndicated weekend countdown show “On the Air”, numerous appearances on “NewsOne Now w/ Roland Martin”, as well as “The Vic Jagger Show” on Sundays on sister-station WYKS 93.9. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

    Vic Jagger can be heard weekdays with the Russ Parr Morning Show from 6-10am and Middays 10a-3p for “VJ In The Midday”.

    The Donnie Simpson Show

    Donnie Simpson is the ruling Washington DC radio icon as well as a television and movie personality. He hosted The Donnie Simpson Morning Show in Morning Drive for over 17 years. He was Billboard’s “1998 Air Personality of the Year”. He is also known by the nickname “Dr. Green Eyes” for his luminous light green eyes.

    Simpson began his career at age 15 at WJLB in Detroit, where he remained for eight years. In 1977 he relocated to Washington DC, where he began working at WRC-FM, known as “Disco 93.9“, now WKYS, as morning drive host and program director. Donnie’s star shone brightly as he maintained an incredible run of success on top of the Ratings throughout his tenure in Morning Drive Radio. No stranger to Radio One it’s an incredible honor to have a living legend back on the airwaves at WMMJ!

    John began his career in broadcasting before he graduated from Clinton High School in North Carolina. After attending East Carolina University, he jumped in the radio business full time. John has hosted radio shows in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Washington, D.C. over the last 25 plus years. He has also hosted several nationally syndicated radio programs, including The U.S.A. Music Magazine and Reflections. John was seen as a segment host on the nationally syndicated television show, “Live in Hollywood.” He is a two time Music Director of the year for Gavin Magazine and once for Billboard Magazine. He has been nominated numerous times for Major Market Personality of the Year during his long career. John is currently the host of the evening show “Love and R&B”.
