Born and raised in Washington, DC, Jagger holds a Bachelor’s degree in Media Arts (TV Production) from the University of the District of Columbia. She began her radio career in 2003 with Radio One and the Russ Parr Morning Show as assistant producer and part-time personality. In 2008, Jagger was promoted to full-time on-air personality; creating popular character voices, parodies and giving her take on hot topics and national headliners. Jagger’s ambition has garnered her much success over the years; being named program and music director for Russ Parr’s syndicated weekend countdown “On the Air”, appearances on “The Roland Martin Show”, “The Vic Jagger Show” on Sundays on sister-station WYKS 93.9, as well as creating her own entertainment & lifestyle site, TheGabulousLife.com in 2013.
Donnie Simpson is the ruling Washington DC radio icon as well as a television and movie personality. He hosted The Donnie Simpson Morning Show in Morning Drive for over 17 years. He was Billboard’s “1998 Air Personality of the Year”. He is also known by the nickname “Dr. Green Eyes” for his luminous light green eyes.
Simpson began his career at age 15 at WJLB in Detroit, where he remained for eight years. In 1977 he relocated to Washington DC, where he began working at WRC-FM, known as “Disco 93.9“, now WKYS, as morning drive host and program director. Donnie’s star shone brightly as he maintained an incredible run of success on top of the Ratings throughout his tenure in Morning Drive Radio. No stranger to Radio One it’s an incredible honor to have a living legend back on the airwaves at WMMJ!
Ric Chill is a truly the hardest working man in Washington DC radio, having worked at 10 radio stations in the DC market. Born and raised in the DMV, Ric began his radio career at the tender of age of 17 as an intern at WPGC. Within 8 months he was a weekend on-air personality. In 1995, he was recruited to lead the on-air staff at the first all hip hop/go-go station in the Washington DC market, “Flava 1580”. After a brief stint at WKYS, Ric transitioned into a sports talk show producer, producing shows for the likes of Tony Kornheiser, Doc Walker & Al Koken, as well being the original producer for “The John Thompson Show” on ESPN 980.
In 2000, Ric joined the staff of Jam’n 99.5, which later changed formats and became HOT 99.5. While there, he was the top rated personality on the station over any daypart.
In 2009, Ric re-joined the Radio One family in Washington DC, working in a variety of capacities until joining the Majic 102.3 airstaff in January of 2012. Ric is the Executive Producer & On-Air Contributor of the Donnie Simpson Show.
