Keith Sweat Explains Why He is Still Single at 63
Keith Sweat revealed during a show that he was single, and said it wasn’t because he can’t find a woman.
The R&B icon expressed to the crowd during a live show that in today’s dating scene, the women that he meets prefer not to showcase their housing etiquette, and want to receive the benefits by association.
“I don’t mind tellin’ you I’m single… I done met too many [entitled women]… you gotta bring something to the table to get something from me.”
“They don’t wanna cook no more. I wash my own clothes, I iron my own clothes… gotta do somethin’ for me!”
Fellow R&B sister Tamar Braxton shared the same sentiments pretty much everyone else had, asssuming he is refering to younger women.
“Cause u with the wrong one cooking for you PopPop” tamarbraxton commented.
“I love Keith Sweat, but I know for a fact that all his age mates cook, so he’s clearly talking about women 30 years younger than him.” supernovajen commented.
“Shawty in the crowd hollering “I’ll wash ya clothes” is proof that it’s somebody for everybody” djb_wavy commented.
