The man who accused Chris Brown of assaulting him inside a London nightclub last year by allegedly smashing a bottle of Don Julio 1942 over his head and knocking him unconscious is able to proceed with his $16 million lawsuit. Amadou “Abe” Diaw was adamant that his claims against a tour promoter should not be dismissed, and the judge agreed.  The tour promoter filed a motion to strike some of the allegations made by Diaw including the claim he ignored Brown’s controversial past and created in environment in which the “violent performer was sure to cause harm.”  He argued the singer’s history of “violent attacks” is well-documented and that the tour promoter ignored the “red flags” and “proceeded with organizing the tour”.

The Braxtons are returning to We TV.  Their return is two years after the death of Traci Braxton.  We TV announced “Braxton Family Values” will grace tv screens again during AMC Networks’ Television Critics Assn.’s Winter 2024 press tour.  The new series will chronicle Toni, Towanda, Trina, Tamar and matriarch Ms. Evelyn  Braxtons’ experiences during the pandemic quarantine, and also the grief they’ve endured from the loss of Traci who passed away in 2022 after a battle with esophageal cancer.;

Brittney Griner will sit down with Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts in her first interview about her Russian detainment.  Griner was arrested for possessing vape cartridges containing cannabis oil at a Moscow airport in February 2022.  She will describe what life was like behind bars during. The interview will air during a special edition of 20/20 on May 1.

Snoop Dogg announced the return of a former artist to Death Row Records. Snoop revealed that Danny Boy is back home at Death Row. Snoop Dogg took to Instagram to share the exciting news posting a video of Danny Boy working in the studio.  He captioned the video, “He’s back home.”
