The lead defense lawyer for the trial where Bill Cosby was acquitted on charges of drugging and molesting Andrea Constand has decided to step away from the upcoming retrial.

Brian McMonagle has filed documents seeking to withdraw himself as Cosby’s attorney just days before the upcoming Aug 22 pre-trial conference.
Cosby has maintained that Constand agreed to consensual sex and he is innocent of all charges in the case. Could this have a negative affect on Cosby’s retrial? We’ll all find out in just a few weeks.
