Cheyanne Willis, 21, apparently lied when she told local media she lost her baby after being one of nine people shot at the gender reveal party she hosted.
Police spokesman James Love stated to People magazine, “As ridiculous as it might be, it’s not a crime to lie, it’s not a crime to have a party over that lie. Now if she lied and put everyone in the danger — of course the shooters would be the main focus but [to press charges] would be a decision up to the local prosecutors.”
While having the party, Willis posted pictures to social media with attendees announcing that her baby (that never existed) would be a boy.
