On July 4, we lost an actor many of you have seen but never knew his name. Actor Ji-Tu Cumbaka passed away at the age of 77. You might remember him in many Richard Pryor movies such as Brewster’s Millions and Moving. He was also featured in the original mini series roots. He is best known for the snaggle tooth, unlucky gambler who didn’t like kids in the beginning of Harlem Nights. Ji-Tu Cumbaka means “Giant to Remember.”
