According to a few sources, Will Smith is in early talks to play the genie in Disney’s live-action adaptation of Aladdin.
This has yet to be confirmed but I think he would be great Genie! Let’s be real, Will would definitely bring his humor to the character and would not disappoint.
Aladdin is scheduled to begin production in the U.K. in July. Let’s cross our fingers for Will Smith!
