“Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee. The hands can’t hit what the eyes can’t see.”

It’s deemed his best quote, given at the age of 22.  But what would you expect from a man who is… was… “The Greatest?”  Not only quick with his hand, he had quick wit.  His ability to out talk the media and minds of a nation was awe inspiring.  He could not be moved.

Muhammad Ali was indeed great at his craft with 61 total fights, 56 wins and only 5 losses. It’s a record to contend with.  But my question to you is: what does it take to become great? A lesson Muhammad Ali gave us a blueprint to follow: He thought it, He Spoke it, He became it.

My favorite book says “to speak those things that are not as though they were!”  What is your idea of greatness? What life lesson can you take from a great man?  Believe in yourself and continue to speak it until the world believes it also.  R.I.P Muhammad Ali.
