UPDATE:
NBC News reports are saying that Nelson Mandela is being treared for pneumonia. His doctor says that pneumonia as well as other medical issues aren’t necessarily expected but are definitely common given Mandela’s age and tuberculosis diagnosis.
The family continues to encourage people to pray for the former president of South Africa and visited him recently.
Mandela’s stay is entering its sixth day.
