DC’s Potholepalooza 3 Underway

(Washington, DC) — Potholepalooza 3 is underway in the District. The city’s Department of Transportation started the new campaign on Monday, the first weekday of spring, and says more than 700 potholes were filled on the first two days of the initiative. More than six-thousand repairs were done in 2009, the first year of Potholepalooza, and nearly 77-hundred potholes were filled last year. DC Mayor Vincent Gray says even though there’s a “large hole” in the budget, there’s enough money to repair every pothole in the city.
