One hit wonder and son of Motown founder Berry Gordy, Kennedy Gordy, is in some legal hot water.

Gordy, famous for his 80’s hit “Somebody’s Watching Me” got arrested late this past November after allegedly beating a woman with a chair. The woman was working for Gordy and on the night of November 29, she allegedly approached him about payment. He became irate and attacked her with a chair, resulting in serious injuries including a broken arm.

He was jailed and released December 1st.

The woman has undergone one surgery and reportedly needs another to repair the extensive damage to her arm. On January 7, she filed a lawsuit against Rockwell in Los Angeles for personal injury, and claims her damages exceed $25,000.

$25,000? She must not know who is father is.
