If you plan on heading out in the DMV this weekend, you may want to add a little time to your commute if you’re taking Metro trains. Track work will interrupt normal service on ALL Metro lines this weekend.
RED LINE: Trains will be scheduled every 24 minutes between Shady Grove and Glenmont Saturday and Sunday. Some additional trains will be available between Farragut North and Glenmont during the day.
ORANGE & BLUE: Trains will be single tracking outside Foggy Bottom and are scheduled every 24 minutes.
SILVER: Trains will be scheduled every 24 minutes and only run between Ballston and Wiehle-Reston East. Note: The last Silver Line train from Wiehle-Reston East will depart 24 minutes earlier than usual. [11:52 p.m. on Saturday; 9:52 p.m. Sunday]
YELLOW : Trains will only run between Huntington and Mt. Vernon Square every 15 minutes.
GREEN: Trains will be single tracking between Fort Totten and Prince George’s Plaza and run every 15 minutes.
