Tiffany Haddish is finally getting recognition for her hard for over the years. Now that she’s reached A-list status, Haddish’s ex-husband William Steward has major beef with excerpts from her new memoir “The Last Black Unicorn.”

It’s not uncommon for celebrities catapulted into fame overnight to write autobiographies so fans get a better understanding of who they are, but her ex-husband claims lies written about him so he secured Russell Simmons’ lawyer to get answers.

Williams recently stated in an interview that he did not cause the miscarriage Haddish wrote about in her book. He said,  “I have never beat or hit or called a woman a ‘MF’ or ‘B’ while having a disagreement ever in my life. I never caused a miscarriage, I have documents to prove this. Tiffany advised me about a month ago about the book and she told me that I would be furious.”

Fans of Haddish are not letting her ex ruin their book reading experience.

A defamation suit is likely to be filed soon, but hopefully this doesn’t have to play out in court. There are two sides to a story but there is proof that lends truth to what’s written in the book, based on a past restraining order Haddish filed for protection against Steward.

Book publishing companies are known to embellish the truth so readers have a better take-away from new releases. Let’s hope both parties can come to a private agreement so Haddish newly lit Hollywood star doesn’t loose its luster.
