Before the newly wed bride, Kate Elizabeth Pritchard, could begin her honeymoon, she went to jail for pulling a gun from under her wedding dress and pulling the trigger aimed at her husband’s head.
Shortly after the couple said “I do” in Murfreesboro, Tennesee, they began drinking outside the Clarion Inn motel which led to a fight.

Pritchard pulled a 9mm pistol out of her wedding dress and aimed it at her husband, then went on to load the gun and fire a shot into the air.
The bride was to jail still wearing her wedding dress. She was released on $15,000 bond.
