Georgia police arrested a woman after her husband and four children were found stabbed to death inside their home on Thursday morning. When Gwinnett County police entered the home on Emory Lane, they found five dead victims and a fifth child in critical condition. A female child was taken to the hospital and treated for serious injuries, reported WSB-TV.

The children are all under the age of 10. The man was in his 30s, police said. The mother of the children, identified as Isabelle Martinez, has been charged with five counts of murder.

“The suspect we have in custody is the wife/mother of the victim’s involved,” Gwinnett County Police spokesperson Michele Pihera told WSB-TV.

Although no motive has been announced, neighbors believe Martinez was depressed over her father’s death and may have acted in response to her depression. “She seemed so normal, like regular mother,” neighbor Letty Perez told WSB-TV. “She was good, went to our church last weekend, she was there with us.” “She said her dad passed away months ago, she was in depression and we go to her house and pray sometimes for her dad,” Perez said.

The Gwinnett County Police Department said this crime was “horrendous.” Authorities have removed all the bodies and have sent them to the Gwinnett Medical Examiner’s officer to have autopsies conducted.
