Tionne “T-Boz” watkins will tell the story of her life with TLC in her autobiography, A Sick Life.
The memoir will address her battle with sickle cell anemia, and the joy and pain of TLC, including the passing of Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes in 2002.
The book will talk about how the doctors gave her a life expectancy of 30 and how she was deemed disabled, but has still traveled the world and is still traveling. It will talk about how her life has changed for the better, despite all of her obstacles. Watkins says one theme of the book is her survival.
The book will be published in September 2017.
