Feb 5 Pee Wee Kirkland

Pee Wee Kirkland is a legendary streetball player and could be considered the finest basketball player of all time. He attended Norfolk State University and played on the basketball team. His teams had phenomenal years. The Spartans won the CIAA title in 1968 with a 25-2 record; they lost in the second round of the NCAA Division II Men’s Tournament. Kirkland was drafted by the Chicago Bulls in 1968 with a two-year contract but ended up returning to his roots in Harlem and Ruckers Park.
