Grammy Nominated God-Father of Go-Go Chuck Brown’s legacy lives on, as they are releasing his last album, “Beautiful Life” next week, Aug. 19 and celebrating Chuck Brown Day on Aug. 22 with Mayor Gray’s dedication and ribbon cutting of the Chuck Brown Memorial Park. August 22, 2014 (11am-2pm) – Mayor Vincent Gray will do a dedication and Ribbon Cutting To Unveil Chuck Brown Memorial Park (2901 20th Street, NE, Washington D.C.) The Chuck Brown Foundation will also give out 500 backpacks to children attending .
