Working in radio you need a good pair of ‘cans’ or headphones. The industry standard used to be Sony Studio Monitors which would ususally run about $100 and last a good 5 to 7 years of everyday use, depending on the number of times you accidently dropped them.
Now Dr. Dre has done the same to headphones as Calvin Klein did to underwear, increased the price to pay for the brand. So the question is, are they really worth the price?
