Federal prosecutors want to send Barry Bonds to the slammer, no pun intended.
Prosecutors rejected a recommendation by the federal parole board that Bonds only get probation after being convicted of obstruction of justice related to a sports doping investigation last December and have asked that the former baseball slugger get a 15-month prison sentence, according to court documents.
