Murray has been found guilty of involuntary manslaughter against pop sensation and legend Michael Jackson.
Murray initially pleaded not guilty to the charge of involuntary manslaughter which in California is a charge of gross negligence in the medical care and treatment of Jackson.
Under California law, the jury had to return a unanimous verdict to convict or acquit Murray. A split decision would have meant the judge declared a mistrial, leaving the prosecution to decide whether to retry the defendant.
