(Miami, FL) — The newest minority shareholders of the Miami Dolphins are expected to be Venus and Serena Williams. The tennis champions join other South Florida icons like Jimmy Buffett, Gloria Estefan, and Jennifer Lopez in taking an ownership role with the team. The Williams sisters were born in California but now live in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Team owner Stephen Ross told the “Miami Herald” that three new limited partners would be announced next Tuesday and that at least one would be African-American. He said he wants team ownership to be more reflective of the diverse culture that makes up South Florida.
