The outrage has not calmed down since the airing of the Lifetime documentary, ‘Surviving R. Kelly’. Protesters gathered outside of Sony Music’s building in NYC

Kelly is being sued by a property management company for damages to two Georgia homes that he was renting. You remember last year one of the homes was robbed and ransacked.

Every time R. Kelly is accused of some type of wrongdoing, a fire song comes after it addressing the rumors. The Chicago-born singer has been accused of running a sex cult with over and underage women, abuse, and drug use. Radio stations and Spotify has made choices to either restrict or not play his music. You may recall Spotify announced that it would no longer promote R. Kelly or any other artists who performed “hate content” or “demonstrate hateful conduct personally” on their curated playlists. 

Not so good news for R.Kelly… His music is being removed from all of Spotify’s playlists. Beginning today users will no longer be able to find R. Kelly’s music on any of Spotify’s editorial or algorithmic playlists.

Looks like Spotify has started the effort to get R. Kelly all the way up out of here. Well, at least on their platform. R. Kelly’s lawyer, publicist, and assistant have all quit. Linda Mensch (lawyer), Diane Copeland (assistant), and Trevian Kutti say they are done.
