Robert Griffin III’s constant commentary and negative Angel Reese takes have gotten him roasted up and down the timeline, but that wasn’t enough for Shaq, who decided to step in.

On a recent episode of Bailey Jackson’s On The Record podcast, Shaq got serious when addressing RG3’s post condemning the racist monkey photo of Reese.

“RG3? Tweet another monkey post about my girl Angel Reese, and I’m going to punch you in your f-cking face,” O’Neal said in a serious tone after removing his sunglasses. “It’s enough. I don’t usually do stuff like this, but just stop it, bro. You got your job, you got your podcast. Leave Angel Reese alone.

Shaq also explains that he’s the reason Reese has remained pretty quiet on the matter, because he’s been calling her and telling her not to engage with him and to “keep it classy.”

He disagrees with RG3’s narrative that Reese hates Caitlin Clark and argues that the rivalry is simply the healthy competitive nature that two professional athletes should have in their craft. 

The elite-level trash-talking continued from the four-time champ by downplaying RG3’s NFL career.

“It’s a shame that all the stuff you did in your life,” he said. “You’re going to be remembered for your podcast. That should tell you you’re not that fucking great.”

The latest outrage over RG3’s opinion came last week when he shared the racist picture of Reese and first said it was wrong. But then his post devolved into him saying Reese aided in death threats to his family and that he spoke to someone in her inner circle to prove she hated Clark.

Before that, he had a weird take when Reese fell to the court after a take foul from Clark, and then went after her.

“After watching Caitlin Clark’s flagrant foul on Angel Reese and the aftermath, there is no way Angel Reese can continue the lie that she doesn’t dislike Caitlin Clark. I know what hatred looks like.” Griffin tweeted. “Angel Reese HATES Caitlin Clark. Not some basketball rivalry hate either. Hate.”

Hopefully, the threat of a beatdown from seven-foot Shaq means Rg3’s spewed his last Reese hot take.
