With the help of one of the biggest artists in the world, Cash App made a major announcement this week (February 13th). The financial services app has partnered with multi-platinum singer, songwriter and producer Shaboozey to introduce the new Cash App Tortoise Card, a customizable prepaid Visa debit card. Featuring a pearlescent black and brown tortoise shell pattern with gold detailing, no two cards are the same. The Cash App Tortoise Card stands out as a true original in a world full of plain, unimaginative debit cards.
Cash App celebrated the launch by tapping filmmaker Jackson Tisi to direct a video starring Shaboozey. In the spot, the 29 year-old uses his Tortoise Card to take a journey back in time, making a purchase that symbolizes his rise to fame. Check the video out below!

The fully customizable Tortoise Card allows customers to draw unique designs or add stamps (including new, Tortoise-inspired stamps) to showcase their personality and interests. Customers who order the Tortoise Card can select a matching Tortoise theme for their Payment tab, and all customers can now send personalized payments with a Tortoise background so they can send money to friends and family in style.
Included with the Tortoise Card are features Cash App Card customers already know and love including instant discounts with exclusive Offers, special access to concert presales, the ability to save or invest spare change with Round Ups, and more. This is all without paying high fees or navigating other barriers to entry that can come with premium cards.
