Project Coordinator: Math and Science Public Charter Middle School Planning
(18 Month Contractual Position)
Salary Range:
$75,426 $82,882 annually

The Maryland Higher Education Commission seeks a Project Coordinator for the federally funded National Security STEM Initiative (NSSI) in a public-private partnership to develop a STEM public charter school in the Fort Meade/ Anne Arundel County area. The Project Coordinator will be an integral member of the charter school planning team and will be involved in all facets of planning for the new school. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelors Degree in Education, STEM discipline or related field, teaching and educational administrative leadership experience, general knowledge of best practices in K-12 curriculum with preference given to applicants with two or more years experience as a middle school and/or high school principal or prior charter school leadership.
