Queen Latifah, who was a 2023 Kennedy Center Honors recipient, is set to host the 2024 ceremony. The ceremony will be taped on Sunday, Dec. 8, and will air on CBS on Dec. 22. Recipients to be honored include The Apollo, which will receive a special Honors as an iconic American institution.

Tyrese Gibson took to social media to speak on his religious beliefs, sexual orientation and rumored illuminati affiliation. He said, “I’m not gay, ain’t never been gay. I’m not a part of a secret gay, or a public gay. Ain’t no gay, ain’t no down low, ain’t no secret society, ain’t no Illuminati. I cast demonic spirits away from me every day. I walk strongly with my beliefs.”; Jake Paul is addressing rumors saying his fight with Mike Tyson was rigged. In a press release by Most Valuable Promotions, they stated, “Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) would like to set the record straight regarding the contractual agreements and the nature of the fight. Rigging a professional boxing match is a federal crime in the United States of America. Paul vs. Tyson was a professional match sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations.”

Drake taken legal action against Universal Music Group alleging that the company conspired using Spotify to artificially inflate the popularity of Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.” Drake’s Frozen Moments LLC accused UMG of launching an illegal “scheme” involving bots, payola and other methods to boost the numbers for Lamar’s hit diss track.
