The Moore U Give Back Autism Awareness Back Pack Drive

This week on the Community Affairs Show, Cheryl Jackson talks with Tierra Powell, the Coordinator of the Moore U Give Back Autism Awareness Back Pack Drive.  Dr. Valerie Moore in partnership with Kaiser Permanente presents a back to school drive bringing awareness to children with autism. This Community will include a seminar educating parents with children diagnosed with autism.  They will also have a water station, arts and crafts, slime, bubbles and a moon bounce.  Kaiser will provide a mobile bus and booth with healthy snacks, lunch, back packs and various health screenings.

Join us on Sat Aug 31, 2024 at 1:00 PM for a day of giving back and making a difference in our community. The event will be held at 9010 Maier Rd., Laurel, MD where we will have various activities and opportunities to volunteer and support local causes. We are looking forward to bring autism awarness to the community!
