Noted gangster and mob informant Whitey Bulger has met his fate. The 89-year mobster who was on the run for over 15 years before being captured in 2011 was found dead early this morning. However, his death was not from natural causes.

According to TMZ, Bulger had his eyes gouged out after 3 inmates took him into a surveillance-free corner and beat him to death. His death is being treated as a homicide.

After a criminal career in which he worked for both the mob and the FBI, it seems that Bulger may have met his end in the world that he inhabited.
