Before Benét ventured on to a successful solo career he sang with group by the name of “Gerard” and after that a group called “Benét”. His second studio album “A Day In The Life” earned a Soul Train Music Award for “Best R&B/Soul Album, Male” and was certified Gold after being number one on the US Billboard R&B charts for three weeks!
