So if you’re wellin’ about the cold temperatures from this week, or from the (close to) subzero temps from a few weeks ago, you have nothing on the people in the small village of Oymyakon (pronounced OHMYGOD it’s cold!)
For the 500 or so people that permanently live there, the average temperature there is 4 (yes…that’s FOUR) degrees. The coldest it’s gotten there is -96 degrees.
