If you won’t get a chance to see Kandi Burruss performing while out on tour with Xscape, you just might be in luck! One-fourth of the so-so-def Atlanta natives will be starring as Matron “Mama” Morton in an eight week run of the Broadway play “Chicago”.
This accomplishment was one of two goals the multi-platinum singer and Real Housewives of Atlanta reality star set to accomplish in 2017. She also had her eyes on making the cover of Essence magazine. It looks like Burruss’ hard work has paid off because she was able to make both goals a reality.
Let’s hope Kandi is able to juggle being a mother to a 2-year-old, running the family restaurant “Old Lady Gang” down in Atlanta, starring on reality TV, performing nightly with the girls of Xscape, and now being the leading lady in a classic Broadway play.
