We should have known back in August when 50 Cent had a few choice words for Gabrielle Union‘s show ‘Being Mary Jane’ while out promoting his series ‘Power’ that things were just heating up between the two. Less than 2 months later, we learned that BET pulled the plug on Union’s series that had many fans in shock.

Here’s what started it all:

 

In a turn of events, while making an interview appearance for “First We Feast” Union comes clean and told BMJ supports to direct their questions about the shows abrupt ending to Curtis Jackson aka 50 Cent, because it was his fault the show was canceled.

 

 

In true 50 Cent fashion, less than 48 hours later he clapped back with this:

With only one episode of BET’s ’50 Central’ being aired since its debut, the verdict is still out on whether cancelling ‘Being Mary Jane’ was the power move for the network.
