Juanita and Sheldon met in college and now have two teenagers together. Over the years they’ve stressed how they would like their kids to go to a historically black college or university just like they did. Last week their oldest son said he doesn’t want to attend an all black college because that’s not how the real world is.
Juanita and Sheldon think it’s important their son learn his worth at an HBCU and Sheldon now says he’s not paying for college unless it’s an HBCU. Juanita thinks that’s a little extreme but also understands Sheldon’s disappointment in their son’s decision. Tonight Juanita is asking, should Sheldon bend a little on allowing their son to attend whatever school he chooses? Is Sheldon demanding too much from his son?
