So, it was reported there was a war on set of ‘Empire’ between veteran actors Taraji P. Henson and Nia Long. Well, we’re now hearing details about what sparked the feud between the ladies…
According to TMZ, Nia would show up late to work, and one of the male actors jokingly said, “Damn, why are you on black people time?” The joke pretty much sent Nia into a rage and she let him HAVE it in from of everyone on set. Even after he said it was a joke, she wouldn’t let it go… that’s when Mama Cookie… I mean Taraji… stepped in and fired back — “What are you, on your period? Is it that time, girlfriend?” Oop! Supposedly, Taraji has always been super protective of the cast and crew, so everyone had her back.
Wish I could have been a fly on the wall to see that go down…
