In a bad case of mistaken identification, Grammy award winning entertainer Wyclef Jean was held in handcuffs due to matching the description of a nearby robber. All of this went down in front of his daughter early Tuesday morning as a member of crew videotaped the entire ordeal.

In a video posted to the singer’s Instagram, Wyclef can be seen asking why he was handcuffed with no response from the officers. In a series of Tweets, the rapper/singer expressed how he was “treated like a criminal until other police officers showed u and pointed out they had the wrong person. See the video footage HERE.
