(The Shield) Actor Michael Jace was found guilty of 2nd degree murder of his wife, April. In 2014, Michael shot his wife in the leg and in the back during an argument about divorce while their sons were in the house at the time. A jury convicted Michael last month.
On Friday, June 10th 2016 a judge handed down the maximum sentence–40 years to life. That includes 15 years to life for the murder charge and 25 years to life for the gun enhancement.
He’s about to turn 54 soon…so, not a far fetched assumption that he’ll probably spend the rest of his life in prison. I sure hope his prison wife doesn’t ask for a divorce.
