Jodeci is performing at the Magic City Classic in Birmingham, Alabama. The platinum selling group will lead an all-star concert that includes Dru Hill, Doug E Fresh and SWV.
Mr. Dalvin talks to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about how they’ve kept the group together for over 20 years and what the support of their fans mean to them.
“I think that once you put the egos to the side…this works for us. It’s hard, once you achieve some sort of success…” he said.
Why they stopped recording for a while:
“We were doing the music, but we weren’t doing the business. We just cleaned up a lot of mess. We were really young. I was 16 when Jodeci came out.”
