Hey ladies, let’s support and encourage each other more. You hear how Alicia Keys is helping to heal the world? The music phenom who is expecting her second child and having those “mommy to be type” cravings for things like grilled bananas and roasted cherries is also concerned with the well-being of the people of Africa and India. Back in 2003 she launched her foundation, Keep A Child Alive that helps those living with HIV and AIDS in Africa and India. Each year she brings many of her music industry friends and family together for her Annual Black Ball. Last year, she raised about $4 million with the help of co-host Pharrell whose song “Happy” set the world on fire and set some new world records as well. This years ball is set for October 30th at The Hammerstein Ballroom NY. Her co-hosts this time are P. Diddy and Nas – wow! I’ll bet she breaks last years fundraising total. She’s so phenomenal.
