Breast Cancer Awareness, research and early detection are all very important to me. Losing my mother last year due to this disease has undoubtedly changed my entire life, however I truly believe one day there will be a cure. Until then, there are ways to take care of yourself in order to fully monitor what’s going on in your body.

Sweating, taking care of my health and consistently taking steps toward early detection and awareness has allowed hope to somewhat trump grief. So join me beauties by showing your support for Breast Cancer Awareness and sweat it out for your own health!

1. Fitness Fashion For Good

There is life after breast cancer — for patients, their families and their friends. I truly believe this and am living it. I can’t imagine what life would be if the support of my family and friends were not present in the midst of this grief. Everyone deserves this kind of support and I love what the folks over at ABCD: After Breast Cancer Diagnosis are doing. So in honor of my mother’s life, my faith in a cure and the gratitude for all the support that has been poured into my life this RAD tank is available. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to ABCD, so show your support and workout (or hang out) in style all at the same time.

2. Hang In There

I love sweating with straps and am excited to see that TRX®, the industry leader in functional training and creator of Suspension Training® and Rip® Training, has partnered with Susan G. Komen®. They’ve recently released a limited-edition, pink Suspension Trainers as well as apparel–all as a symbol of support and solidarity to help raise awareness and funds for Komen. 10 percent of the proceeds from the pink Suspension Trainer will go directly to Komen to aid in the fight against breast cancer, so if you are looking for a new way to sweat and want to show your support too, then TRX is totally for you! Available now and through the holiday season (while supplies last).

3. A Step Towards A Cure

New Balance is making major moves in support of Breast Cancer Awareness beauties and you can join them too. Their #LACEUP365 campaign is all about making this awareness last all year long. By honoring survivors, their friends, families and supporters nationwide, New Balance’s line of sneakers and apparel is truly top of the line. Sweaters everywhere can wear their favorite shoe’s model, be pretty in pink and support the efforts of Susan G. Komen® all by wearing the Lace Up for the Cure® collection. New Balance will contribute 5% of the MSRP of each product sold from New Balance’s Lace Up for the Cure® Collection to Susan G. Komen®, with a guaranteed minimum donation of $500,000 each year.
