Comedian Red Grant stopped by the TJMS to deliver a bit of funny before he gears up for his weekend of comedy at the Arlington Improv.
The funnyman is best known for his time spent on Shaq’s Allstar Comedy Jam but recalls the time he spent growing up in D.C.

“It’s rough in D.C. Growing up there were a lot of fights cause I’m light skin. My sister was the Don King of the neighborhood,” he says.
Hitting the scene in 1996, fans of Red have grown with him throughout his life, both professionally and personally. The actor is now married with kids.
“I don’t understand how we allow these kids to come back. The grown ups came back so it’s hard to procreate.”
