On Friday, May 30th, the Alpha Omega Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc, descended upon National Golf Club of Tantallon in Ft. Washington, MD to raise scholarship money for deserving students. Majic 102.3’s own, April Watts was tapped to be celebrity host for the event.
The giving arm of the Alpha Omega Chapter of Omega Psi Phi is the Alpha Omega Social Action and Scholarship Foundation (AOSASF). Last year, the Alpha Omega Chapter awarded $15,000 in scholarships. Impressively, the organization has given away more than $200,000 to deserving students in DC, Maryland and Virginia, over the last 15 years. A very special thanks to Vernon Lee, Jr. for inviting Majic 102.3 to participate in financially aiding deserving area students in their college journeys.
