Training Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Training Assistant will report to the Director of Staff Development and Training and assist the Training and Quality Assurance units within the Office of Enrollment Management (OEM). The Training Assistant will provide support for development and implementation of OEM training and quality assurance initiatives to help ensure that staff provide world-class service to all internal and external customers. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

# Assist with design, development, delivery, and assessment of programs on new staff orientation, customer service, professional development, and workplace effectiveness skills in one-on-one, small groups, or classroom settings.

# Provide administrative support for the development and delivery of presentations. Type, edit, format, and revise documents. Proofread for grammatical and typographical errors. Print/photocopy, assemble, and distribute presentation materials. Serve as liaison between Training unit and Quality Assurance unit to ensure that the appropriate training and coaching materials are available. Maintain database of OEM staff training records.

# Requirements

# BA/BS degree and a minimum of 2 years providing administrative support.

# Qualified candidates will possess a broad range of experience performing clerical tasks and computer data entry; excellent customer service, organizational, interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills; the ability to prioritize work, manage multiple tasks, and be timely.
