“If you just look at what his budget does, you can tell he doesn’t care anything about poor people,” Fudge told BlackAmericaWeb.com Monday. “It reflects all the comments he has made. Even if he said his comments were ‘inarticulate,’ his budget shows that he believes what he says.”
Fudge said she welcomes the meeting with Ryan next month.
“I’m looking forward to it because I really don’t like for people to pretend to care about the poor,” Fudge said. “This will give us an opportunity to discuss with him his policies and his statements and more importantly, we need to look at the budget and how it affects poor people.”
Ryan is absolutely out of touch with people of color living in urban America. Let’s be thankful that he didn’t end up in the White House.
