This is a very, very profound drawing. Look closely at the the tombstones, and understand that each represents a person who lost their lives under the “Stand Your Ground Law“. How many more ditches will we have to dig for senseless acts of violence? How many more tombstones will be reserved for the victims of the people who don’t know how to mind their own d*mn business?
To everyone who has lost a loved one under this law, we are praying for you. How much longer we all have to endure these tragedies is yet to be seen, but we will not be silent. We shall continue to cover these stories. We shall continue to let our voices be heard, protest and anything else we need to do until this nonsense comes to an end!
R.I.P Jordan Davis, Trayvon Martin and to all we have lost. The known and the unknown. May God help us!
