Millions of viewers during game four between the Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs got a special treat before half time; all thanks going to Jay Z.
Last week, Jay Z signed a 20 MILLION dollar deal with Samsung. Allowing the cellphone company to stream his fourth coming album 72 hours before release. Last night during a game four commercial set, viewers got to see Jay Z in action! When the date July 4th was announced, everyone (myself included) were wondering what significance the date would have; now we know.
July 4th will be the release of Jay Z’s ‘Magna Carta Holy Grail’ album. From the commercial, it’s proven that the talents of Timbaland, Pharrell Williams, Swizz Beatz, and the great Rick Rubin, will all have a hand in this project. Where does Samsung come in? Well the company will stream the album 72 hours before it’s release; meaning that Samsung Galaxy users will have access to the album before it officially drops.
