(Takoma Park, MD)  —  A DC firefighter is facing charges for an incident last week in Takoma Park.  Twenty-five-year-old Keith Chung allegedly parked in a handicapped space at an I-Hop and became involved in a disagreement with the officers who ticketed him.  According to the police report, Chung took the ticket and dropped it onto the ground and when officers approached, Chung refused to produce his license; refused multiple orders to exit the vehicle and responded with racial and gay slurs.  Chung is charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, having an open container of alcohol and littering.  WJLA-TV reports that DC Fire and EMS says Chung will remain on administrative leave until his case is resolved.
