(New York, NY)  – –  Voters are evenly split nationwide when it comes to President Obama’s re-election prospects.
According to a newly released McClatchy-Marist Poll, four-in-ten respondents say they will definitely vote for the president, while the same number say they will definitely vote against him.  Twenty-percent of respondents say they are unsure.  There has been little change among Democrats with 69-percent reporting that they will support the president down from 70-percent in June.  Seventy-seven-percent of Republicans say they will choose another candidate, down from 85-percent of respondents in June.  Seven-percent of Republican voters nationally say they plan to vote for the president.
